What's Murder?
It is described as the malicious taking of life from a human being. The gray area between murder and justice has been debated since America's beginning. It used to be that any kind of loss of life was blamed on someone as a count of murder. Now, it is okay for the president to kill a US citizen with a criminal record with little deliberation or repercussion. However it is still illegal on every level for a private citizen to murder any other human being. By this logic, it is fine for a powerful official to kill a criminal but being a vigilante is met with harsh punishment. It is an ideal of Capitalism that no government official has a right that any citizen does not. Obama's actions clearly violated this ideal and the Constitution itself. Even when he feels the responsibility to serve justice by carrying out the killing it violates all that the Constitution stands for. If there had been a trial and deliberation it may have been found that this man was as guilty as Obama or even not guilty at all! This would have been quite embarrassing for Obama having been so sure that killing this man with a wave and a nod seemed like the best thing to do for America.
